Mauricio Barrientos, known professionally as “El Diablito”, is a Mexican actor, writer and comedian, celebrated for his stand-up performances. Barrientos began his career with a small role in the soap opera Soñarás (2004), later appearing in the series Los Sánchez (2004), Life is a Song (2005) and in the film Navidad SA (2008)
On television, Mauricio has been a host and comedian for the program Noches con Platanito (2013). Later he got his own television show in Motel Diablito (2013). In addition to being a radio host, in EXA, Mauricio has participated in films such as Amor de mis amores (2014), Compadres (2016), ¿Qué culpa tiene el niño? (2016) and Tod@s Caen (2018), among others. In 2018 he voiced a main character in Here Comes Grumpy , alongside actress Camila Sodi.
